ID and PW

Can I change my user ID or Password?

Yes. You can change your username and password by going to "My Account" in the support category.

I forgot my user ID and password. What should I do?

When you register a user ID, we send an e-mail containing your user ID and password information. Please save the e-mail.

In the event you lose your password, please reissue your password by going to "Forgot Password".

Can I change my in-game player name?

You can change your player name by purchasing "Change Player Name" in the Miscellaneous section of the in-game shop.

Can I share an account with friends and family?

The sharing or assigning of accounts is prohibited in the users agreement. The use of another person's account and password is also prohibited. If either of the above events should occur, service to the user may be terminated without prior warning.

I didn't receive any confirmation email after registration.

If you were not able to receive your confirmation email because it was blocked by your email provider, kindly re-register using a different email address. Please make sure to adjust your whitelist settings to accept anything coming from SplashFighters by allowing *@splashfighters.com. If this still does not work, please try creating a new email address using Gmail and re-register using that new email address. Always make sure that you have typed your email address correctly before clicking on the "Submit" button.

SETUP

I can't login.

You may not be able to login to the game due to the following problems.

1. If the message, "Incorrect user ID or password." appears, check to see if the characters "0"(zero) and "O"(o) have been entered correctly if present, as they are easy to confuse.

2. If the message, "cannot connect with lobby server" appears, the game server may be under maintenance. Check the maintenance information listed on this website. Alternatively, you may not be connected to the Internet. Check to see if your browser or e-mail program is connected to the Internet.

3. If you keep seeing the message "cannot connect with lobby server", that might be the case you are accessing from the area where the local service is available on your languages. Please check the existing service area at the following website. http://www.getamped.org/

SplashFighters' original game title is GetAmped which attracts a lot of registered users from all over the world.

Can I play the game with a Mac operating system?

SplashFighters only supports Windows 2000 operating systems, or more recent versions.

A "Cannot install on this operating system." message appears while installing the game.

SplashFighters runs on MS Windows 2000 operating systems, or more recent versions. Click here to see a detailed list of environment requirements. Check to see if your system meets the requirements. If it does and you still cannot install the game, please contact us.

I installed the game, but the screen won't start up.

Try changing the SplashFighters shortcut link to the following location: "C:\Program Files\CyberStep\SplashFighters\amped_directx.exe"

  • Follow the instructions in the installed folder.

If the screen still won't run, please contact us.

After starting the launcher, the update process fails.

Nothing happens when I click on the executable file./How do I uninstall the game?

The installed game program file may be corrupted. Try uninstalling the game, downloading the game program again and reinstalling it.

Uninstalling the game 1. Click on the Start button in the bottom-left of the desktop screen. 2. Click "Control Panel." 3. Run "Add or Remove Programs." A list of programs will appear. 4. Click on the game and then click "Remove." 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. 6. A message will appear when the uninstall operation is complete. Click "Finish."

If the above does not solve the problem, please contact us.


An "OpenGL hardware acceleration disabled" message appears.

This may be due to the following reasons:

1. Your graphics hardware acceleration has been turned off. Go to "Display Properties" >> "Settings" tab >> "Advanced" button >> "Troubleshoot" tab >> "Hardware Acceleration," and set the slider to "Full."

2. Your display driver does not support OpenGL. If your computer meets the system requirements for SplashFighters, you may be able to solve the problem by updating your display driver to the latest version. Responsibility for the installation and updating of display drivers lies entirely with the user. If you have questions about how to install or update your display driver, please contact the display driver manufacturer.

Will my character and other data be deleted when I uninstall the game?

Character, item and other data will not be deleted after uninstalling the game. If you reinstall the game, you can resume use of your data.


VISTA

I can't upgrade my game client.

The SplashFighters service is not currently supported on 32 bit & 64 bit Microsoft Windows Vista systems. Please check your OS setting and reinstall it.

GAME

Can I use a gamepad?

SplashFighters supports gamepads. However, gamepads must have four or more buttons to operate the game.

Can I chat privately with someone else?

Change the "All" tab in the Chat Input screen to "Individual," and select the name of the person you wish to chat with in the player list to send private messages to that individual.

I can't find the screenshot I took by pressing F12.

Screenshots you take are saved in a folder labeled "screenshots," located in "C:\" >> "Program Files" >> "Cyberstep" >> "SplashFighters." Please contact us if you cannot find your screenshot there, or if it is blacked out.

Can a guild only consist of up to 10 members?

You can increase guild member limits by purchasing "Guild Expansion" in the Special category of the SplashFighters in-game shop. The maximum guild member capacity at present is 50 members.

When I tried to watch a game, an "Observer limit reached." message appeared.

The observer limit for each room is three persons. Only special channels allow unlimited observer capacities.

I bought a Survival Ring, but I still can't use Survival Mode.

Players can participate in Survival Mode by purchasing the Survival Ring. Survival Mode can only be played from 7:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. daily.

Can I use Get Amped user data other than that used in SplashFighters?

No. All players begin SplashFighters from the initial state.

A communication error occurred during gameplay.

A communication error during gameplay may be due to the following:

1. You have been disconnected. If your network line becomes unstable, or the signal is temporarily interrupted while using a wireless Internet connection, a communication error may occur during gameplay.

2. Maintenance has begun. Communication errors may occur due to periodic maintenance or emergency maintenance due to game server trouble.

The game screen won't display correctly.

If the screen fails to display correctly in a specific situation, please notify us as chances are it is a bug. If the screen fails to display correctly in general, Check to see if your display driver supports OpenGL, and if you have enough video memory. If a problem occurs even though you meet the system requirements, please notify us.

I found a bug (malfunction) in the game.

Please notify us of the problem.

Can I use gift cards to purchase CyberBux?

Yes. However, some Canadian gift cards cannot be used for US transactions. Kindly call your credit/debit card provider to find out if US transactions through your card are possible.

Is it possible to edit skins for accessories as well?

At present, the skins of the following accessories can be edited. Refer to the Skin Editor page to learn more about editing skins.

I'd like to make the character I created over again. Can I delete it?

At present, characters cannot be deleted.

Can I use Get Amped skin data other than that made in SplashFighters?

Some skin data cannot be used, as game specifications differ. Please check within the game.

How can I save up game money?

The basic method is to participate in 3-person battles. Game money is awarded according to the points you earn in your overall results. Game money is also awarded when you meet various conditions as you play.

I can't purchase Unlimited Original Skins and Unlimited Accessories in the shop.

Unlimited use of original skins and accessories is only available while in possession of the Dream Brush accessory.

How can I put screenshots and skins on the website's bulletin board?

You can upload two files to the bulleting board as follows:

1. Click "Post" on the bottom-left of the page. 2. The New Post page will appear. Enter your common ID, password and other information. Click the Browse button by "Upload #1" and "Upload #2" at the bottom of the page and select an image to upload. (Up to two images can be uploaded.) 3. Click the Post button to upload the images."

How can I use downloadable skins on the bulletin board?

You can use downloadable skins as follows:

1. Click on the "- Download #2 : xxx.skin (xx KB)" part of the page of the skin you want to download. (The "Download #1" part is not a skin file.) 2. Set the location to save the skin file somewhere on the C: drive. 3. Open the Special category in the SplashFighters in-game shop, and select "Add Special Skin." 4. Select a saved file and click "OK" to complete the purchase of the skin. 5. Exit the shop, go to the Character Edit screen and click on the skin section on the right side of the screen. 6. Select the skin you purchased at the shop.

A "Page cannot be displayed." message appeared while viewing the website.

If a page does not display normally, please refer to the following:

Recommended Browser Environment Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 or later

Check if your browser is supported. If it is and the problem persists, communications may be being blocked by the following device and software security features:

   * Router or modem, proxy, etc.
   * Simple firewall applications
   * Standard Windows XP firewall (ICF)
